Celebrating over a decade of innovation, our conference stands as Silicon Valley's longest-running tech event. Since inception in 2013, we've grown from hosting 500 early adopters to over 10,000.
Year 1: We were basically figuring it out as we went along, but somehow managed to create a sense of community magic. We scored appearances from legends like Naval Ravikant (the angel of Angel List) and Steve Blank.
We leveled up with a global partnership with Google, and Startup Grind began to appear in communities all around the world. We had 1,000 attendees from over 30 countries. Legends like Sam Altman, Reid Hoffman, and Jessica Livingston joined the movement.
We moved up to bigger digs in Redwood City and watched our crowd grow to 3,000 attendees. Marc Andreessen and Clay Christensen share the stage for one of the most unforgettable talks in our history.

From 2017-2019 the founders of OpenAI, Airbnb, Box, Slack, WhatsApp, Eventbrite, Twitter jumped in. Our startup program launched, bringing top startups the opportunity to exhibit and meet investors. Deals happened and things began to shift.

We sell out event with 10,000 attendees and 8 stages of content. We became the last large conference in the world before the global shutdown.
The show must go on! In 2021, we took the conference online, creating a “home for startups” everywhere, reaching 20k globally alongside the incredible Stacey Abrams.
We settle in with our sweet spot of 5,000 startups. Higher quality connections, meaningful interactions. Two of our standout startup exhibitors, Airalo and Swit, went on to raise impressive funding rounds—$60M Series B and $40M, respectively!
