You may receive a full refund if you request to cancel your ticket within 14 days of booking your ticket. We have a strict no-refund policy after this date.

After this 14-day period our refund policy becomes a transfer only policy and we encourage you to donate to a friend!

In the unfortunate event that we’re not allowed to get together in-person, we will cancel the in-person component of the conference. If this happens, Startup Grind will automatically provide you a refund for the in-person part of the event. The ticket to the digital event will still be valid.

Tickets can be transferred without additional charge before 15 February 2022. Any ticket transfer after 15 February 2022 will incur a service charge of $50.

The Scaleup exhibition allows your company to have a dedicated exhibition booth at the conference, along with the other benefits mentioned above (including a guaranteed pitch slot).

To keep the exhibition exclusive and super curated, we are only accepting a total of 80 exhibitors. The application process ensures that we only accept companies that will benefit from the opportunity. It’s a two-day conference, so only 40 will exhibit each day. This ensures maximum visibility + exposure for each startup.

All you need to do is apply, after which our team will review your application and get back with a decision in a couple of days. You will also have the opportunity to connect with someone from our team if you have any questions (if accepted). Once you pay and confirm your place, we will assign an Account Manager who will share next steps and be your one point of contact from SG, for the exhibition.

You will exhibit live at our 2022 Global Conference in Redwood City, California.

All scaleups that are selected after going through the application and vetting process are asked to pay a single, upfront membership fee ($2499) to receive all the benefits mentioned above.

To ensure that we are able to deliver real value to every scaleup that is attending, we accept less than 10% of applications to exhibit at the conference (only 80 spots available). However, we still need to cover the costs of hosting such a big conference and deliver all the benefits mentioned above. As such, we are not currently able to offer any scholarships or discounts. If accepted during our vetting process, we do offer a deposit payment option if needed. Please contact the SG representative you are in touch with for further details.

Yes, all exhibitors will have a dedicated pitch slot during the conference (the pitch will be part of the main conference agenda and promoted extensively to attendees & investors).

Yes we do. Upon request, we provide invitation letters signed by our CEO to all team members of an exhibiting startup. These invitation letters can be used as part of your visa application.

No. There is no parking available at the venue.

Redwood City Caltrain station on the Caltrain line is the most convenient way to travel and the closest to the conference. You may also use the ride sharing service, such as Lyft.

Absolutely! You can enter and exit the event at your leisure as long as you are wearing your Startup Grind wristband, which acts as your ticket after registration.

There will be hundreds of investors in the audience — many who’d love to meet you. You’ve just got to find them, so turn on your networking game! Approach it with the intention of making friends first (before pitching hard), we find it works better.

Yes. The app allows you to view the venue + conference schedule to create your own personalized agenda for the day, message fellow attendees, set up meetings on-site, and exchange contact info with our startups and partners. We will let you know when the app is ready closer to the conference, stay tuned!

We appreciate your enthusiasm, but we ask our guests to stick to business cards at most. Other solicitation will not be permitted on-site.

Whatever makes you comfortable! Typically attendees are casual to business-casual. Consider the types of people you’ll be meeting – it’s always positive to make a good first impression.

Unfortunately, we will not be sponsoring visas for attendees to the Startup Grind Global Conference.

As we’ve all experienced, COVID-19 protocol changes day by day. However, we’re consulting local government officials to ensure that the in-person conference will have the highest health and safety measures in place.

Be prepared to either be vaccinated or have proof of a negative COVID-19 test in order to attend the in-person event. We’ll inspect all documentation at check-in. Depending on governmental guidelines and best practices, other measurements to ensure a safe environment will be taken, including and not limited to: temperature sensors at the gate, face masks and general hygiene measures.
